A quick look at media bias in Canada with an info graphic
I had a hard time finding a simple, easy to reference info graphic that shows where most of our Canadian media sits on the political scale. This isn’t just mainstream media, but blogs, people — doesn’t matter. I even plugged in ToryNow. 😛 [ View/Save image ]
I found most of the stats from Media Bias Fact Check (some are updated due to mixed opinions). They have way more info over there, with a enhanced pin-point-scale and reviews. Check them out if you need more information per media outlet. *They have an extensive list, but not all are there.
Hope you find it useful!
If you see errors, or have suggestions let me know.

New info graphic, hopefully..
Since posting this info graphic two plus years ago, it remains to be one of our most consistent queries. I made the image for the same reason most look for it. As I stated originally, I couldn’t find an easy Canadian reference graphic either – at that time.
I was about to update this one, however…
As I note in my original post. Aside from a few I had to tweak or add based on comments, most of the stats come from the website mediabiasfactcheck. They’re a great search tool, but I recently noticed some reviews have since aged. Including, mostly, these types of sites give their own personal rating and go from there.Due to COVID, the Trucker Convoy, Emergencies act, the EU, the Russian/Ukraine conflict, etc… It’s become quite clear it’s getting difficult to ignore media bias & viewer unrest. Thus, I’d like to create a new image based on your votes instead. So please help us review these outlets. Once each outlet gets enough votes, we’ll revise this image accordingly and periodically completely based on your thoughts!
Thanks for all your help.
All the organizations on the original graphic have been added into the review database. If you’d like to suggest a Canadian outlet, please let me know.
