OMG, take the easy out!

We all know leaders and their political health “experts” will never admit they failed. Now they have a golden goose staring right at them — Omicron can be their easy way out plus they’d save face! Win-win, right? For the love of God, for our economy, our health, and our sanity, take the easy out!

Now that I’ve had a couple days to digest the news, it’s understandable that most conservative outlets are worried omicron is the new #FearStorm Liberals have been salivating for to increase power over-the-people and sink our economy even further, while they reap the benefits. Yet, I’m trying to see the glass half-full here 😒! Like we haven’t had enough Rona-this Rona-that for almost two straight years. Most are tired and tuning out. But none the less, here we are — scary headlines, lockdowns, bans, and leaders like #Justinflation threatening Canadians with even more restrictions.

Meanwhile, Africa is pleading for everyone to calm tf down, OMG variant (great word Marc!) has only (so far) caused mild symptoms that last 2-3 days (less threatening than a cold it appears, and they won’t know much more for weeks!).

Yet, it hasn’t stopped the frenzied push for the vaccine, even though pharma has said the current vaccine will probably struggle against omicron. Miraculously though, they are working on a new vaccine to combat the OMG variant, which will be available as soon as a few weeks. Seriously. Ummm 😐

Nevermind the under-reported fact that the vaccine of today seems to keep you only somewhat healthy for a couple months with the clock quickly counting down until you’re basically “those people” again-and-again until you get your umpteenth booster.

For the love of God, take the easy out. We can’t survive more govt restrictions, mandates, and a vaccine that’s clearly NOT working. Like I said previously.. domino effect, despite the gov’t blaming everyone else, and working hard to divide Canadians into red and black armies — it’s not Canadians vaxxed or not, the system was already horribly backlogged — Govt failure is killing us, literally…

“5.2 per cent more deaths overall than expected…

Health-care restrictions brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic may have contributed to thousands of excess deaths not related to the virus, along with increased incidents of mental health disorders and substance use, and have put a strain on the Canadian health-care system, according to a study commissioned by the Canadian Medical Association (CMA).
The study shows that delayed treatments or missed health-care services due to pandemic restrictions may have been a factor in more than 4,000 excess deaths unrelated to COVID-19 infections between August and December 2020 and have also resulted in a significant backlog of medical procedures.

Studies have also shown the pandemic has led to a stark rise in anxiety and depression, especially among youth, across the globe”
