This is ridiculous. Government created problems, now they want to punish? Why bother being a Landlord?
Let’s talk about the Elephant in the room: ridiculous immigration numbers, uncontrolled student visas and expired visa holders, rampant govt over spending, provincial gate-keepers, govt CORRUPTION, horrific COVID response, inflation. Landlord Rights? It’s a struggle to kick out squatters! There’s a reason why so many turned their long terms into short, or walked away from being a landlord all together. All these extra rules will do nothing. We are run by idiots that are allergic to accountability & responsibility.
